Why Credit Repair?

Your credit score may look like an innocent 3 digit number that everyone mentions from time to time, but beware! A good credit score can be your open door to lower interest rates, the best car loans, home loans and credit card deals. It can also make the difference of whether or not you're asked to leave a deposit signing a contract. A bad credit score on the other hand can hurt you in many ways.

Your credit score is a number between 300 to 850. The average score across the U.S. is right at 675. Credit scores tell a story of your past payment history as well as the likelihood of how you'll pay your bills in the future. Scores that are above 720 are favorable and they reflect a responsible consumer who in most cases is very likely to pay their bills on time and without problems. These consumers will also get the lenders' best rates on loans, mortgages, etc.
If you're a consumer with a score in the 620 to 674 range, you will still apply for credit in most cases, but more information may be needed. There may be a few negative items in your past, and your lender may want some explainations to ensure that those problems are not likely to arise in the future. In cases like this, loans may be approved, but as additional security, the lender will want a higher APR.
If your score if below 620, you're usually considered Sub-Prime and many lenders will reject you based on several missed payments or your inability to demonstrate that you are responsible with paying your debts. Some lenders will approve you, but they will charge an extremely high interest rates.

Keeping a nice credit score save you lots of money and time!
